Fridge Thawing (The Gold Standard)

The USDA recommends this as the safest method. It maintains a consistent temp below 40°F. Calculate 24 hours for every 4-5 lbs.

Cold Water Thawing (The Fast Track)

Submerge wrapped turkey in cold water. Change water every 30 mins to keep it safe. Takes about 30 mins per pound.
